At the International Citrus and Beverage Conference (ICBC), organised by the International Fruit and Vegetable Juice Association (IFU), CITRUSBUSTERS was presented as part of IFU’s overview of international collaborations driving innovation and sustainability in the juice sector.

The project’s mission was presented as a key example of how science, biotechnology, and industry cooperation can work together to safeguard citrus production. 

CITRUSBUSTERS focuses on early detection, innovative preventive measures, and sustainable biocontrol solutions, helping to enhance crop resilience, restore biodiversity, and support both conventional and organic citrus systems.

The conference brought together international experts, researchers, and industry leaders to discuss current challenges and opportunities in citrus production and processing. 

By participating in this global event, CITRUSBUSTERS strengthened its ties with the scientific and industrial communities working towards the same goal: a sustainable and resilient citrus future.
